You are in for an exciting, educational, and FUN summer! We are going to learn how horses think, act, and why they do the things they do- good and bad. We will explore how horses communicate with each other, how we can communicate with them in their own language, and how to teach them to understand us! In the process, we will learn how to ride, handle, care for and work with them safely! We will also discover horse anatomy, movement, gaits, breeds, colors, markings and their many uses.
 
Campers receive a binder of horse information that is yours to keep! Each camp you attend will add new and exciting information to your binder and your mind, along with new talents and skills to make you a safe horse rider, care taker, handler and friend! I bet you’re thinking, “Wow, horses sound like a lot of work!” And they are.... but their lots of fun too! They build your physical strength, self-confidence and courage. Nothing is more rewarding than asking a half ton animal to do something and have them respond “Yes, Sir or ma’am,” no matter how old or small you are! They teach you responsibility and mutual respect, along with trust.
 
 But......summer camp is supposed to be fun! So we will also play games, get exercise, do arts and crafts, watch movies, go on field trips (Full Week camps), and did I forget to mention, eat lots of good food!?! Week-long campers get a pizza party or Family BBQ and an exhibition to showcase their new riding skills! Once again, Welcome to Rockin’ B Horse Camp!
